We provide a complete measuring and professional fitting service for our made-to-measure curtains, blinds and shutters.We can guide you through the whole process, from choosing the right window furnishings for your home and taking accurate measurements through to professional installation. Our aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible and ensure your finished curtains, blinds or shutters are fitted correctly and look their best.

Our typical lead time for bespoke curtains and blinds is approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the date your chosen fabric arrives at our workroom.As every project is made to measure and tailored to your individual requirements, timescales can vary depending on the product, fabric and specifications. We will keep you updated throughout the process so you know how your order is progressing.

Our home consultations are free of charge for up to two rooms.For whole-house consultations, we charge a £60 consultation and measuring fee, which is deducted from your final invoice if you proceed with your order.If you are initially looking for an approximate idea of cost, you can also send us your own window measurements and we can provide an indicative estimate before arranging a consultation.

We'll then arrange a home consultation at a convenient time.During your consultation, we'll discuss your requirements, interior style, practical needs and preferences. We'll measure your windows and help you explore suitable fabrics, curtain and blind styles, linings and hardware options.Following the consultation, we'll provide an estimate based on your requirements. This can be refined with you until we've found the right solution for your home. Once everything is agreed, your window furnishings will be made to measure and professionally fitted.

We generally do not recommend washing or dry cleaning made-to-measure curtains or fabric blinds at home, as this can damage the fabric or affect their appearance, shape and finish.For routine care, we recommend gently vacuuming using a soft brush attachment. Light steaming can also help freshen suitable curtains and blinds and maintain their appearance.Care requirements can vary depending on the fabric and materials used, so we can advise you on the appropriate care for your particular window furnishings.

We offer a wide range of designer fabrics for bespoke curtains and blinds, with options to suit different interiors, styles and practical requirements.Our collection ranges from timeless neutrals and understated textures through to bold colours and contemporary prints. During your consultation, we can help you choose a fabric that complements your room while also considering practical requirements such as privacy, light control and insulation.

Whether you need lined or interlined curtains depends on the room, the fabric you've chosen and the look and performance you want to achieve.Lined curtains are the standard option. The lining helps protect the face fabric, improves the way the curtains hang and provides additional insulation and light control.Interlined curtains have an additional layer of material between the face fabric and lining. This creates a fuller, more luxurious appearance, adds weight and can provide improved insulation.Blackout lining is particularly useful for bedrooms and other rooms where reducing incoming light is important.Thermal lining can be a good choice where improving insulation is a priority, particularly around colder or draughty windows.For a fuller, more luxurious and traditional finish, we would generally recommend interlined curtains. For a lighter or more contemporary appearance, standard lined curtains will often be sufficient.
